Your role in this mission: As Partnerships Team Lead, you will build and lead our partnerships function at WorkFlex. You’ll be both a hands-on Partnership Manager and the leader of a growing team (initially two Partnership Managers) – setting the strategy, driving execution, and making sure the team hits ambitious growth targets.
🎯 What you will do
- Lead the Partnerships Function - Own and further develop the overall partnerships strategy ensuring it aligns with our company goals and drives measurable revenue impact.
- Build & Manage a High-Performing Partnerships Team - Lead, coach, and develop a team of Partnership Managers (initially two), set clear goals, give regular feedback, and support their professional growth.
- Hands-on Partner Prospecting - Actively identify and approach potential partners within the B2B HR and HR Tech domains, while opening up new, exciting verticals over time.
- Drive Strategic Partner Relationships - Build and maintain strong relationships with key partners, understand their goals deeply, and continuously identify win–win collaboration opportunities.
- Co-Create Joint Go-To-Market Motions - Develop and execute joint GTM plays with partners, including co-selling motions, integration launches, and joint commercial initiatives.
- Own Joint Marketing Activities - Plan and run joint webinars, events, and campaigns together with our marketing team and partner network, driving both engagement and revenue.
- Pipeline & Revenue Ownership - Own the partnerships pipeline, including accurate forecasting and reporting. Ensure that you and your team consistently drive new partner-sourced and partner-influenced revenue.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration - Work closely with Sales and Marketing to align on target segments, messaging, and partner plays – unlocking the full potential of partnerships across the funnel.
- Product & Market Feedback Loop - Collaborate with our Product team, channeling insights from partners and the market to improve our existing products and shape new ones.
- Strategic Leadership Discussions - Work directly with WorkFlex leadership on shaping our partner ecosystem strategy and influencing our go-to-market roadmap.
⭐ What you need to succeed
- You are proficient in both German and English.
- You have at least 5 years of experience in partnerships, business development, or a similar commercial role – ideally first leadership experience (team lead, mentoring, or project leadership) but not strictly necessary.
- You are an excellent communicator and relationship builder
- You bring proven experience in developing and growing partnerships in the DACH market, ideally including relationships with senior stakeholders at leadership and C-level.
- You are comfortable owning both strategy and execution: you enjoy defining the big picture while still being hands-on in daily partner work.
- You thrive in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment and are self-motivated and proactive – especially in a fully remote setup.
- You have strong analytical skills and use data and KPIs to guide decisions, prioritise focus, and measure impact.
- You have a solid understanding of technology and common sales/partnership tools, including HubSpot.
- You are passionate about remote work – you enjoy working remotely yourself and want to help many more employers benefit from this setup.
