Your role in this mission: We are seeking an experienced and strategic Director of Compliance to lead our global compliance strategy, ensure the accuracy and scalability of our automated compliance platform, and solidify WorkFlex as the global authority in cross-border mobility technology. 

🎯 In this role, you will focus on:

• Strategy and Vision: Define and execute the global compliance strategy, ensuring it aligns with the company’s vision of making cross-border compliance effortless, and setting up the roadmap to scale our solution.

• Team Management: Lead, mentor, and expand a high-performing team of Global Mobility, Tax, and Legal compliance experts, fostering a culture of operational excellence, accuracy, and innovation.

• Compliance: Oversee and validate the accuracy of all compliance logic within the WorkFlex platform.

• Sales/CS Collaboration: Act as the ultimate subject matter expert on compliance topics, supporting the Sales team in closing deals and collaborating with Customer Success to resolve complex client compliance inquiries.

• Product/Tech Collaboration: Collaborate with Tech teams to translate complex global compliance rules into intuitive, automated software features.

⭐ You have:

• A Master's degree in (Tax) Law or equivalent qualification in a related field.
• Proficiency in German and English.
• Extensive (10+ years) experience in Global Mobility compliance, with experience at a Big 4 or specialist firm being a plus, or as an in-house Global Mobility leader.
• Deep expertise in downstream Global Mobility compliance, including areas like A1/Certificates of Coverage (CoCs), Posted Worker Directives (PWDs), and immigration/visas.
• Proven experience successfully translating complex compliance requirements into scalable technology/software solutions.
• Exceptional people leadership skills and the ability to clearly communicate complex ideas and solutions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability and ambition to thrive in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment.
